Farm Viability Operations Associate

• Manage contract administration for 100+ active contracts annually, including client service agreements, vendor contracts, and subcontracts.
• Track 250+ invoices and coordinate documentation for 500+ payments annually across Smart Solar and Farmer and Rancher Services programs.
• Design and optimize operational systems in Monday.com, Sutisoft, and ContractWorks, integrating AI-assisted productivity tools.

This role ensures that program staff can focus on supporting farmers and ranchers by maintaining efficient operational systems, ultimately helping to protect farmland and advance sustainable agricultural practices.

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, contract administration, or program coordination (or 7+ years without a degree).
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and experience coordinating contracts or tracking financial documentation at volume.
• Proficiency with project management, database, or contract management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and openness to adopting AI-assisted productivity tools.

Annual salary of $70,000 - $75,000. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, sick leave (13 days/year), vacation (15 days/year increasing to 20), 12 fixed holidays plus week between Christmas and New Year off, and flexible scheduling.
