Family Forward NC® Statewide Strategist

• Lead and grow the Family Forward NC® initiative, including the Employer Certification program, through new and existing strategies.
• Expand statewide strategic partnerships by conducting outreach to community organizations, professional organizations, and employers.
• Develop and launch a marketing campaign in collaboration with the Communications Manager.
• Support organizational fundraising goals by building relationships with potential funders and contributing to grant writing.

This role improves children’s health and well-being by promoting family-friendly workplace policies in North Carolina, benefiting employees and their families while enhancing business recruitment and retention.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or at least seven years of experience in building and leading initiatives focused on policy solutions, community engagement, and advocacy.
• Proven success in building and managing relationships with colleagues, partners, and funders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong public presentation skills.
• Experience in foundation and corporate fundraising and grant writing.
