External Engineering Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate strategic partnerships with external engineering consulting firms, technical specialists, and third-party service providers
• Manage the external engineering ecosystem by coordinating scope and interfaces, driving technical alignment, and managing schedules and deliverables
• Ensure outside work products integrate cleanly into a single, buildable solution across disciplines like chemical/process engineering, mechanical, electrical, and process safety

This role enables Last Energy to execute complex engineering work through specialized external partners, ensuring integrated solutions that support the company's mission of advancing clean energy technology.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Experience managing external engineering partnerships and consulting firms
• Ability to coordinate multiple firms in parallel across various engineering disciplines
• Strong project management skills for managing schedules, deliverables, and technical alignment
• Experience with process safety engineering including HAZOP support
