at DT Global

🏢 About DT Global

DT Global Asia Pacific is a leading international development contractor with over 60 years of experience, operating in 22+ countries. They are known for co-creating locally led solutions and delivering impactful programs that promote inclusive growth and resilient communities. Working here offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to positive social impact across the Pacific.

About This Role

As a Pacific Labour Mobility Specialist, you will support the Strengthening Pacific Labour Mobility (SPLM) Programme, working with Labour Mobility Units across nine Pacific countries. Your role is crucial in building local capability, improving pre-departure preparation, and strengthening reintegration policies, directly impacting the lives of workers and their families. This is a remote role that allows you to contribute to a program with tangible outcomes in the Pacific region.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might involve virtual meetings with LMU counterparts in different Pacific time zones, reviewing progress reports, and developing training materials. You could spend time analyzing policy documents to recommend improvements, or facilitating a webinar on pre-departure preparation. Remote collaboration and regular communication with the team in New Zealand and across the Pacific would be key.

🎯 Who DT Global Is Looking For

  • Deep understanding of labour mobility issues in the Pacific, including the RSE scheme and challenges faced by Pacific workers.
  • Experience in capacity building, policy development, or program implementation in international development contexts.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working with governments, communities, and regional organizations.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to work effectively in cross-cultural settings and remotely.
