Mission
What you will drive
Primary responsibilities include:
- Build productive client relationships and manage client engagements, including designing workshops/training, supporting disaster strategies, authoring reports, and conducting consultations on disaster response and recovery best practices.
- Manage pipelines of consulting clients in collaboration with the Director of Advisory Services, engage in business development, and coordinate with team members to develop scopes of work and budgets.
- Collaborate with the Director of Advisory Services and EAS team to refine and deliver the EAS strategy, build capacity, and oversee a cadre of expert consultants (CDPCorps).
- Represent CDP to the public, community leaders, and colleagues in philanthropy, and work cross-functionally with teams like marketing, development, and research to ensure effective collaboration on EAS contracts.

Required qualifications and skills:
- Roughly 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in disaster or emergency management, humanitarian crises, consulting, and/or philanthropic advising.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-level, complex programs, work independently, and make decisions with considerable latitude.
- Experience in development and management of scopes of work, projects, and budgets, with domestic or international disaster response, recovery, mitigation, and/or resilience experience.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
