What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Provide visionary and strategic leadership for GBWN, overseeing day-to-day administration, programs, staff, and financial health
- Lead all fundraising efforts including gift cultivation, donor stewardship, grant applications, and revenue generation to sustain and grow the organization
- Serve as primary spokesperson with funders, stakeholders, and media while managing network outreach, communication, and community relations
- Ensure ongoing excellence of programs and oversee execution of research, education, and advocacy initiatives on water management issues

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of management and fundraising experience (public, private, or NGO sector considered)
- Familiarity with basics of western water law, experience with media relations, and working knowledge of Nevada water law and administrative processes
- Ability to read and synthesize legal briefs, communicate with legislators, interpret bills, and offer testimony (knowledge of Nevada/Utah legislative process preferred)
- Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation for travel to remote rural areas
