Executive Director

• Lead strategic and operational execution of GNPS's mission, including program management, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement.
• Expand fundraising and partnership programs, implement the 2026-28 Strategic Plan, and increase member engagement and public visibility.
• Advocate with government officials at state and local levels to advance the society's policy priorities.

This role directly advances the conservation and stewardship of Georgia's native plants and their habitats, promoting biodiversity and environmental sustainability across the state.

• Managerial experience, preferably senior level in a nonprofit organization.
• Proven leadership, relationship management, marketing, and fundraising experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
• Experience or knowledge in botany, ecology, horticulture, or environmental sustainability (desired).

Salary range: $75,000-$85,000 annually. Benefits include a $500/month healthcare stipend, 20 PTO days, 8 paid holidays, and professional development opportunities.
