What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Build and sustain a diverse funding base with focus on private individuals and large foundations; cultivate donor relationships and secure multi-year support
- Define and execute organizational strategy with measurable objectives that advance Generation Patient's mission; ensure alignment of all programs and advocacy efforts
- Lead an agile, efficient nonprofit team; directly supervise staff while fostering growth, collaboration, and accountability
- Establish policy strategy and remain committed to increasing influence of young adults with chronic conditions on national and international stages

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- Significant prior relevant experience with direct supervision of staff and/or consultants
- Experience in direct fundraising and interacting with funders (reference from funder required)
- Strong skills in policy analysis and understanding of complex policy and legal documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfort representing organization in various settings
- Analytic and problem-solving skills; ability to understand community needs and strategically align work
- Proven emotional intelligence and advanced conflict management expertise
Benefits
What's in it for you
Salary: $125,000-$140,000 (depending on experience)
Position is fully remote with work environment based on personal home office. Must be willing to have availability outside of 9-5 p.m. EST for international work and to accommodate West Coast staff when needed.
