About the Role

The Executive Director will provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to the organization, overseeing program development and implementation to achieve advocacy objectives and policy goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to the organization in accordance with DRAD's mission and goals
  • Oversee program development and implementation to achieve advocacy objectives and policy goals
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to ensure financial stability and long-term sustainability
  • Manage day-to-day operations including financial management, staff supervision, and organizational administration

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit management including staff management, board relations, and organizational development
  • Proven fundraising success with foundations and ability to adapt to changes in philanthropic sector
  • Strong financial management skills including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills with ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Successful people management experience and ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
