Executive Director

• Lead and manage the overall success of Climate Action Pathfinders, including team leadership, strategic planning, project and operations management, relationship management, and fund development.
• Convene and support local climate action leaders through structured peer learning, consulting, and working groups to advance decarbonization goals.
• Develop and scale the program to engage over 100 communities within 3-5 years, including creating a Climate Action Playbook.

This role directly catalyzes local climate action across the U.S., empowering community leaders to achieve breakthrough results in decarbonization and resilience, scaling bottom-up innovations into national impact.

• 5-10 years of relevant experience (including academic or volunteer experience) with strategic, collaborative, and values-driven leadership.
• Ability to build authentic, high-trust relationships and facilitate group processes for shared learning and collective action.
• Fundraising and financial management capacity, including budgeting and tracking revenues/expenses.
• Experience in team leadership, strategic planning, partner engagement, and systems change or quality improvement initiatives.

Full-time, remote position (US or Canada). Competitive salary and benefits package based on experience. Occasional travel within the US required.
