American Impressionist Society seeks a dynamic and collaborative Executive Director to lead the organizationโs programs, operations, and strategic growth. This position requires a fine attention to detail and a heightened sense of timely communication. The Executive Director advances the mission of AIS by overseeing exhibitions, educational programs, communications, membership services, sponsorship and organizational management, while serving as liaison to the Board of Directors. The Executive Director works remotely and must be available to travel twice a year for opening week events of two exhibitions. American Impressionist Society is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation of American Impressionism through exhibitions, education, and member engagement. AIS was founded in 1998 and now has over 2,500 members from all fifty states. AIS has an active board of directors providing leadership to AIS and dedication to their art practices.
