Events Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Anera's portfolio of domestic and international fundraising events and galas, including end-to-end planning, securing venues, managing budgets, and coordinating vendors and talent.
• Plan and execute donor stewardship, cultivation, and community convening events to deepen engagement and support continued and increased giving.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Communications, Programs, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on messaging, goals, and budgets.
• Manage event timelines, task lists, documentation, and post-event follow-up, including tracking performance and preparing reports.

This role creates positive change by planning and executing fundraising and stewardship events that deepen donor relationships, strengthen community engagement, and advance revenue goals, directly supporting Anera's mission to help refugees and others hurt by conflicts in Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan through emergency relief and sustainable development programs.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with 6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role planning and managing nonprofit fundraising or donor engagement events, such as large-scale galas.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure, with strong budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfort working with senior leadership, board members, donors, and external partners, with experience in donor databases and event registration platforms preferred.

The estimated salary range for this role is $71,313 - $76,369, with actual pay varying based on organizational budgets, qualifications, experience, specialized skills, and training.
