Events Coordinator & Development

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project timeline for GYIS, including logistics, marketing, registration, and programming milestones
• Serve as the primary point of contact for keynote speakers and industry panelists, ensuring they are fully briefed and prepared
• Lead all on-site operations, managing volunteers and troubleshooting in real time
• Work closely with the Executive Director on development initiatives tied to GYIS and broader YIS fundraising efforts

This role creates positive change by empowering high school students with financial literacy and investing knowledge through the Global Youth Investment Summit, helping shape the future of a growing youth education nonprofit.

Required skills and experience:

• Strong project and event management experience (nonprofit, education, or conference experience a plus)
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for education, youth development, and mission-driven work

Part-time position (20 hours per week) with possibility to expand in the future. Overtime will be compensated around GYIS. Play a central role in a nationally recognized youth education nonprofit, work directly with senior leadership and an engaged board, see the tangible impact of your work on students' lives, and help shape the future of a growing organization at an exciting moment.
