Mission
What you will drive
The Evaluation and Research Specialist will lead comprehensive aspects of evaluation, research, assessments, and studies portfolio of UNICEF State of Palestine. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the Country Office uses a well-prioritized plan of research and evaluative activities to manage the Area Programme toward achieving expected results
- Design, implement, and promote the use of evaluations, research, studies, assessments and programme data
- Coordinate with HQ to lead scoping, implementation, and completion of the Country Office's Level 3 Evaluation
- Strengthen evaluation capacities of Country Office staff and national partners through capacity building programmes

Required qualifications and experience:
- Advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in evaluation, economics, social sciences, public policy, statistics or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in programme evaluation and research
- Experience in developing and managing evaluation plans and research portfolios
- Strong technical knowledge of evaluation methodologies and research design
