ES- Senior Customer Support Specialist

The Senior Customer Support Specialist will:

• Provide exceptional customer service and waste support to clients, ensuring satisfaction with waste treatment and disposal services
• Serve as escalation point for customer inquiries, processing orders, preparing correspondence, troubleshooting issues, and fulfilling customer needs promptly
• Mentor junior staff and provide escalated support to resolve complex issues and enhance customer satisfaction
• Coordinate office services, assess waste profiles, prepare shipping documents, investigate billing discrepancies, and manage waste transportation logistics

This role supports Republic Services' mission to create a more sustainable world by ensuring proper waste treatment and disposal, advancing circularity, and supporting decarbonization efforts through efficient customer service and regulatory compliance.

Required qualifications include:

• 4-7 years of progressively responsible experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in waste disposal, chemistry, or related field
• Advanced knowledge of RCRA laws and regulations, waste characterization principles, DOT regulations, and accounting processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer
• Ability to identify trends and data patterns, work within a team environment, handle multiple assignments, and interpret complex documentation
