Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- General outbreak detection, outbreak investigation, and outbreak documentation
- Disease surveillance, analysis, and reporting of surveillance data
- Data processing and analysis of epidemiological data
- Knowledge sharing and communication
- Communication with internal and external partners, including meeting participation and possible travel activities
- Co-supervision of the department's guest students
- Participate in the department's health professional advisory work (after training)

Profile

Required qualifications:
- Academic education within the health science field with knowledge of epidemiological surveillance and outbreak management
- Several years of professional experience from similar work, preferably international experience
- Interest and experience with outbreak management and epidemiological data analysis
- Basic knowledge of microbiology
- Experience writing and publishing scientific articles
- Personal qualities: structured, able to meet deadlines, takes initiative, can work independently, communicative and accommodating
