Environmental Solutions Project Manager

Core responsibilities for this Environmental Solutions Project Manager role:

• Manage execution of environmental projects at client sites, ensuring contractual requirements and work scopes are met while validating regulatory compliance
• Serve as main point of contact for project issues, reporting daily activity and managing resources to ensure safe, compliant, and profitable projects
• Perform onsite customer service including regulatory inspections, waste characterization, shipping, profiling and document preparation for waste streams
• Work with customers to establish reuse, reduction, recycling and alternate treatment options and develop/implement subsequent programs

This role creates positive change by helping customers safely manage technical waste streams, establishing reuse/reduction/recycling programs, and advancing Republic Services' commitments to circularity and decarbonization to create a more sustainable world.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Knowledge of complex regulations specific to environmental waste industry, management principles, analysis/evaluation methods, and research strategies
• Understanding of current industrial safety practices, industrial hygiene, and hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal operations
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and technical aptitude
• Ability to work under pressure, exercise independent judgment, control resources and expenditures, and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications
