About
Environmental Grants Data Research Consultant
The Environmental Grants Data Research Consultant will play a key role in collecting, researching, and inputting environmental grantmaking data into an online CiviCRM database. This position requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Collect environmental grantmaking data from various sources including IRS 990 forms, grantors' websites, and direct funder communications
- Research, code, and input grants into an online CiviCRM database using EGA's standard taxonomy based on grant descriptions and online resources
- Create new profiles for grantees in the database including EIN numbers, websites, addresses, and other relevant information
- Assist in grant tagging review and data cleaning as needed
Requirements
- Strong research skills with the ability to collect and analyze data from various sources
- Proficiency in using online CiviCRM database and EGA's standard taxonomy
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with grantors and other stakeholders

- Experience working with grantmaking data and CiviCRM database
- Familiarity with EGA's standard taxonomy and grant descriptions
- Knowledge of environmental grantmaking and related issues

Benefits
