Environmental Field Scientist

Core responsibilities:

• Perform groundwater monitoring, including data collection and field measurements
• Collect soil and water samples in accordance with regulatory and project requirements
• Assist with stormwater inspections and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and plumbing components of remediation systems
• Maintain accurate field logs, documentation, and chain-of-custody records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Conduct local fieldwork and availability for travel outside the state

This role contributes to environmental protection and remediation through field data collection, monitoring, and maintenance of environmental systems, helping ensure compliance with regulations and supporting environmental sustainability efforts.

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with environmental sampling activities and remediation systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in the field both independently and as part of a team
• Motivated and self-driven
