Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop infographics, attractive and interactive presentations of GHG projections/scenarios, and posters
  • Support with the development of policy briefs and other outreach material
  • Support the development of draft agendas, background documents, and related side events and exhibits during various conferences
  • Assist the organization of webinars, online courses, and subregional and regional consultations and climate awareness on the SDG Help Desk

This role helps shape policy advocacy and support decision-making to address interconnected environmental challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, including climate change, air pollution, water resource management, and biodiversity loss, supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Applicants must be a student enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Master's or Ph.D. Programme (those who have completed their studies at a Masters' level are preferred)
  • Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing) in English are required
  • Design software skills in development of infographics, posters, and publications are desirable
