Mission
What you will drive
- Maintain and evolve Zoox's Enterprise Business Glossary, ensuring clear definitions, ownership, and alignment across systems and teams
- Partner with BizApps, PLM, AI/ML, Safety, and Engineering to validate terms, resolve definition gaps, and maintain semantic consistency
- Document business rules, data standards, metadata requirements, and critical data elements to support enterprise governance
- Support data quality initiatives by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and helping define remediation approaches
- Contribute to evaluating Zoox's Databricks environment to understand current capabilities and opportunities for governance at scale
- Maintain governance documentation, procedures, and workflows while supporting working groups and cross-team communications

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- BS degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in data management or data governance within a regulated environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured components
- Experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, or similar data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple concurrent tasks
