Engineering Manager

• Enable web engineering teams to become highly productive cross-functional teams that ship high-quality products daily
• Grow teams by attracting great talent and fostering an inclusive, caring culture where everyone can do their best work
• Provide regular 1:1 coaching and feedback to help team members thrive and reach their aspirations
• Ensure suitability of architecture within domains to enable longer-term product goals and work closely with other leaders on strategy, technology, and people

This role helps prevent outages, reduce wildfire risks, and accelerate the transition to a safer, more resilient electrical grid by enabling teams to use AI and satellite imagery to pinpoint vegetation risks.

• Passionate about climate and experienced in high-growth scaleup environments
• At least 2 years experience leading and managing engineers across multiple teams
• Experience with technologies like React/Typescript, Python/fastAPI, Postgres DB, and data pipelines
• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and coach engineers at all levels, and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
