Engineering Manager - Core Team (all genders)

As Engineering Manager - Core Team, you will lead a backend-driven engineering squad (approx. 8 people) that owns the underlying data models and internal workflows of the Grid Hub - a digital twin of the electrical energy grid.

• Coach, mentor and help direct reports grow as engineers through 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
• Work closely with the squad, E2E Product Managers and stakeholders to refine product and technical roadmap
• Manage and coordinate internal feature requests and requirements, assessing technical feasibilities
• Steer and monitor software delivery in an agile environment, enabling efficient and consistent high-value output

This role contributes to driving forward the energy transition by managing the team that builds and maintains the Grid Hub - a digital twin of the electrical energy grid that enables efficient and scalable solutions for the energy sector.

• Proven skillset to lead and manage cross-functional Software Engineers across all skill levels (Junior to Staff)
• Strong experience in web application development, preferably in core business workflows or database modeling
• Thrive in complex environments and enjoy challenging technical problems in domains like graph-theory, electrical engineering, or digital-twins
• Excellent communication skills and motivation to coach Engineers on personal and professional growth
