Engineer IV, Safety Analysis & V&V

Core responsibilities:

• Support software development and qualification of design and safety analysis codes for nuclear safety analysis
• Oversee software qualification efforts including verification, validation, and Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD)
• Ensure software quality assurance compliance with nuclear safety applications and NQA-1 standards
• Lead development of documentation associated with Regulatory Guide 1.203 for transient and accident analysis methods

This role supports the development and qualification of software used for nuclear safety analysis, which is critical for licensing and designing advanced nuclear reactor technology like the Xe-100, contributing to safer and more reliable nuclear energy systems.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (nuclear, chemical, mechanical, etc.) or related field from accredited institution
• Typically ten years of experience in an engineering role
• Specialized knowledge within safety analysis function
• Previous experience with performing V&V or CGD activities
