Job Title: Engagement and Communications Co-ordinator

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Be an ambassador for the organization and for PMR/GCA, raising the profile of both
  • Work with medical trustees and patrons to develop a network of health professionals advocating for good treatment
  • Work at a national level to promote good practice and lobby government, influencing policy where possible
  • Support the development of a network of volunteer ambassadors for information talks and awareness-raising activities

Required skills and experience:

  • Proactive self-starter with experience communicating with diverse stakeholders and building networks
  • Experience creating and communicating information in various formats (public speaking, written/video materials, digital presence management)
  • Experience working in a small voluntary organization with flexibility and adaptability
  • Knowledge of the UK voluntary sector and passion for improving health outcomes
