Energy & Utilities Manager

• Develop and execute comprehensive utility engagement strategies throughout the entire development lifecycle of Terawatt Infrastructure projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for all utility-related matters, ensuring seamless coordination among internal teams
• Conduct thorough due diligence during site evaluation, analyzing utility infrastructure availability, capacity, costs, and risks
• Create realistic project schedules incorporating utility timelines, develop and manage comprehensive utility budgets, and negotiate complex utility agreements

This role supports the transition to autonomous and electric vehicles by developing the charging infrastructure needed for fleets, contributing to the permanent transportation and logistics infrastructure of tomorrow.

• Experience working with regulated and municipal electrical utilities in major US metro areas
• Strong understanding of utility distribution/transmission planning and design, and electrical design standards
• Electrical and site design experience
• Experience with the complete utility coordination process, from application to design to energization
• Strategic thinking skills regarding business, operations, and technical challenges
• Experience in estimating utility service costs and project development from site acquisition to operational assets
