Energy Markets Intern

• Become an expert in understanding the role of demand-side resources in energy markets
• Support identification and evaluation of market opportunities through regulatory and market research
• Assist with project management and execution of market activities including registrations, dispatches and settlements
• Analyze large datasets in Excel and utilize business analysis skills to turn findings into tangible action

This role helps commercial and industrial customers profit from energy markets while delivering innovative demand response, energy purchasing, and energy efficiency programs that contribute to a cleaner energy future.

• Desire to become an expert in energy markets and demand-side management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required
• Proficiency in Python required for Technical Internship applicants (Python/R/SQL experience a plus for NYISO Internship)
