Energy Markets Analyst

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as an internal expert on market rules and requirements in wholesale and retail energy programs across the country
• Partner with Operations to ensure client assets are appropriately registered in contracted markets and meet compliance requirements
• Work with Data Science to develop market price forecasts and asset bidding strategies
• Maximize asset profitability by executing market participation strategies for renewable and storage assets

This role contributes to optimizing revenue and minimizing risk for renewable and battery storage assets, supporting the transition to clean energy by enabling better management of renewable energy resources in power markets.

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS in a financial or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel or other analytical tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and departments
