Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed design of Photovoltaic (PV) Electrical Power Systems including string sizing, array layouts, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and project schedules
  • Prepare computer-based models and perform power system studies on utility scale PV power plants including short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, arc flash, and harmonic analysis
  • Review equipment data sheets, manuals, and testing reports for design and approvals
  • Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and observation reports while maintaining professional understanding of applicable Codes and Standards

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution (electric power option preferred)
  • 3-6+ years of relevant engineering or field experience
  • Knowledge and familiarity with medium and low voltage distribution, switchgear, motor control centers, and industrial instrumentation and controls
  • Experience with AutoCAD and effective written/oral communication skills
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
