Education Director

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as IUAPR's lead educator and public-facing spokesperson, representing the organization through high-impact teaching, speaking engagements, and external partnerships
• Build, promote, deliver, and scale IUAPR's education and training portfolio through facilitation, curriculum development, business development, and program leadership
• Develop and implement educational programs grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and anti-racist pedagogical frameworks
• Lead the growth and sustainability of IUAPR's paid education and training portfolio by identifying new opportunities and building client relationships

This role creates positive change by advancing the understanding of anti-Palestinian racism through education and training, translating research into accessible content, and expanding IUAPR's work nationally to change the landscape of anti-Palestinian racism across significant sectors of society.

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as an anti-racist or racial justice educator and facilitator, with a primary focus on adult learning and professional development environments
• Demonstrated grounding in liberatory, anti-oppression, and culturally responsive pedagogy
• Exceptional public speaking and facilitation skills in virtual and in-person settings
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Demonstrated commitment and understanding of Palestinian history, culture, and politics
• US based and able to work in the US
