About
The Editorial Manager role is a key position at RFUS, responsible for translating organizational strategy into compelling content and stories that drive fundraising, engagement, and visibility.
Responsibilities
- Translate organizational strategy, program work, and impact into compelling content and stories that drive fundraising, engagement, and visibility
- Lead media relations, including securing media placement, drafting op-eds and press releases, and building relationships with journalists
- Co-lead the development and execution of RFUS's annual communication strategy in support of 2030 goals
- Manage RFUS editorial calendar and production timelines, ensuring consistency in message, tone, and branding across all platforms

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and qualifications:
- Exceptional English writing and editing abilities in various formats (press releases, social media, formal reports, feature stories)
- Fluency in Spanish required (Portuguese is a plus)
- Significant experience in communications campaigns and marketing with knowledge of common style guides (AP or Chicago Manual of Style)
- Highly developed project management and organizational skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with communications tools, social media platforms, data analysis tools, and digital marketing strategies
