What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Research on environmental and social dimensions of transport, climate change impacts on transport, reducing emissions from transport, sustainable urban mobility, electric mobility, socially inclusive public transport, resilient transport systems, and advocacy of sustainable transport policies
  • Support the editor in reviewing articles and finalizing the Transport and Communications Bulletin for Asia and the Pacific, including maintaining contacts with authors and preparing editorial statements
  • Support in preparing case studies, background materials, research outputs (policy briefs, blogs, publications, technical reports), and literature reviews on selected themes
  • Identify and collect data from primary and secondary sources, conduct analysis of transport development trends, and prepare reports with findings and conclusions

What makes you a great fit

Required skills, experience, qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate school program (second university degree or higher) in economics, transport, environmental studies, or related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, and analyze data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
