Job Title: Ecologists, Naturalists, and Taxonomic Experts for Uganda
Responsibilities
- Identification of species from lowland Uganda through high-resolution images (plants and/or mammals) or acoustic data (birds, bats, and/or frogs) shared online.
- Support the design of biodiversity surveys and help train machine learning models by annotating image and/or acoustic data.
- Provide feedback on data collection methods to improve automated identification using machine learning.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Expertise in identifying birds, bats, frogs, plants, or mammals from acoustic data or high-resolution images.
- Ability to add species labels to audio or image files to name the species present.
- Experience in biodiversity or ecological expertise relevant to lowland Uganda.
- Willingness to complete a short trial exercise to demonstrate expertise.
