Drafting Assistant

Core responsibilities:

• Prepare and edit technical drawings in AutoCAD, including preliminary layouts, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
• Review design drawings and use Bluebeam Revu to finalize device and cable counts for bid preparation
• Utilize Fieldwire to set up project drawings, create tasks, and update/modify drawings for field use
• Set up and configure new projects in LinkWare Live prior to construction start to ensure accurate test result tracking

This role supports construction projects through accurate drafting and documentation, contributing to efficient project execution and quality outcomes in the construction industry.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 0–3 years of experience; construction, engineering, or low-voltage industry experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Fieldwire preferred but not required
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
