Downstream Processing Internship

• Optimise downstream recovery at pilot scale.
• Support weekly downstream production operations.
• Set up protocols to investigate and improve processes.
• Translate bench scale experiments to pilot scale applications.
• Develop and routinely perform analytical methods.

This role helps develop recovery processes for protein production using fermentation technology that decouples from agricultural land, contributing to creating an era of food abundance for humanity.

• Students working toward a M.Sc. or equivalent, with a background in food technology, (bio)process technology, process engineering and/or chemical engineering.
• Capable of working in bench, pilot and data documentation.
• Team player with excellent English proficiency.
• We only hire interns that need to do a mandatory internship for university.
• Internship duration of 6-7 months.
• Starting period from September-October, 2025.
