About the Role / Overview

The DoFY Team is looking for 5 enthusiastic and passionate managers for its team.

Responsibilities / What You'll Do

  • First Year Project Coordinator Manager: Oversee the FYPCO program, act as point of contact for FYPCOs and mentors, distribute applications, market the program, hire FYPCOs, manage mentor relationships, organize meetings and workshops
  • Events Manager: Help plan regularly occurring events for first-years (First Year Mixer, Jacket Council, All-Discipline Fair), develop new events, work closely with the first-year team
  • Initiatives Manager: Help plan new and regularly occurring initiatives for first-years (Physics Cookies, Iron Pin Ceremony, Workshops, EngPals), develop new initiatives, work closely with the first-year team
  • Communications Manager: Help advertise upcoming events and important information to first-year students, manage social media presence, help run events, develop marketing plans
  • International Representative: Act as liaison between Engineering Society/Faculty and International Students, organize workshops & events for international students, help run events, sit on Equity Committee
