Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage volunteers in Climate Defiance chapters across key U.S. cities
- Establish new Climate Defiance chapters and provide ongoing coaching to volunteers and leaders
- Organize and coordinate direct actions in multiple cities, including nonviolent protests and creative demonstrations
- Conduct trainings for volunteers and help them take on leadership roles within the organization

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Minimum two years of organizing or campaigning experience
- Experience managing teams of volunteers
- Participation in or leadership of nonviolent direct actions (protests, strikes, sit-ins, blockades)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal oversight
- Flexibility for travel (25% expected) and site visits
