Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage volunteers in Climate Defiance chapters across key U.S. cities
- Establish new Climate Defiance chapters and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to volunteers and leaders
- Organize and coordinate direct actions in multiple cities, including attending events and running trainings
- Travel to cities for site visits and actions (25% travel expected) and handle administrative responsibilities like tracking volunteer outreach and turnout

Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of organizing or campaigning experience
- Experience managing teams of volunteers and participating in or leading nonviolent direct actions
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and readiness for actions and site visits
- Preferred: At least one year of distributed organizing experience and experience in leading systematic conflict resolution
