Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage volunteers in Climate Defiance chapters across key U.S. cities
  • Establish new Climate Defiance chapters and provide ongoing coaching to volunteers and leaders
  • Organize and coordinate direct actions in multiple cities, including nonviolent protests and disruptive actions
  • Conduct trainings for volunteers and handle administrative tasks like tracking outreach and turnout

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of organizing or campaigning experience
  • Experience managing teams of volunteers and participating in nonviolent direct actions
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility for travel (25% expected)
