Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage volunteers in Climate Defiance chapters across key U.S. cities
  • Establish new Climate Defiance chapters and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to volunteers and leaders
  • Organize and coordinate direct actions in multiple cities, including attending events and running trainings
  • Handle administrative tasks such as tracking volunteer outreach and turnout

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of organizing or campaigning experience
  • Experience managing teams of volunteers
  • Participation in or leadership of nonviolent direct actions (e.g., protests, strikes, sit-ins)
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility for travel (25% expected)
