Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage volunteers in Climate Defiance chapters across key U.S. cities
  • Establish new Climate Defiance chapters and provide ongoing coaching to volunteers and leaders
  • Organize and coordinate direct actions in multiple cities, including travel for site visits and actions
  • Handle administrative tasks such as tracking volunteer outreach and turnout

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of organizing or campaigning experience
  • Experience managing teams of volunteers
  • Participation in or leadership of nonviolent direct actions (creative protests, strikes, sit-ins, blockades)
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility for travel (25% expected)
