Director Strategic Operations - Environmental Solutions

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and execute operational strategies that align with Environmental Services' strategic goals, focusing on optimizing efficiency and driving growth
• Analyze data, identify improvement areas, and lead cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes across the organization
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Business Unit, ensuring efficient workflows, managing budgets, and developing strategies to optimize productivity
• Translate strategic plans into actionable operational tactics in collaboration with executive leadership

This role creates positive change by developing and executing operational strategies that advance Republic Services' environmental solutions capabilities, helping customers safely manage technical waste streams and supporting the company's commitments to advance circularity and support decarbonization.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 7-10 years of overall relevant work experience with experience in a senior operational role
• Advanced ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions
• Deep understanding of strategic planning principles and ability to translate strategy into actionable operational plans
• Proficiency in project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
• Deep knowledge of operational processes and best practices within relevant industry
• Knowledge of industry best practices and environmental regulatory and compliance
