Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and execute state-by-state strategies to advance the Foundation's state policy priorities, including research funding, banning paraquat, and improving access to quality care.
- Build and manage relationships with state legislators, their staff, coalition partners, and other stakeholders to influence policy outcomes.
- Support policy development and research by analyzing legislation, regulations, and emerging issues to inform strategic decisions.
- Recruit and support Parkinson's Foundation advocates to engage in state policy efforts and represent the Foundation in policy settings.

What makes you a great fit
Required skills and qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in policy, advocacy, or government relations, with healthcare policy or state government relations experience as a plus.
- Bachelor's degree and demonstrated ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop effective advocacy strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience building relationships with policymakers, coalition partners, and advocates.
- Deep understanding of state government and legislative processes, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
