Director, Software Platforms

• Define, lead, and scale the software program management function to ensure complex, cross-domain vehicle software is delivered with the right scope, quality, timing, and integration across Lucid’s vehicle portfolio.
• Build and lead a high-performing organization of software program leaders and TPMs, aligned to Lucid’s vehicle roadmap and software architecture.
• Drive alignment on software scope, sequencing, and release content, ensuring commitments meet vehicle milestones and quality expectations.
• Own software program health, risk management, and delivery readiness, ensuring early identification of gaps and decisive mitigation.

This role directly enables the delivery of Lucid’s award-winning electric vehicles, which combine exceptional performance with sustainability, driving the transition to sustainable mobility and reducing environmental impact.

• 15+ years of experience leading complex software programs in automotive, embedded systems, or similarly scaled, safety-critical environments.
• Proven experience building and leading senior program management organizations across multiple product lines.
• Strong understanding of vehicle software architectures, cross-domain dependencies, and software release lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred.

Base pay range: $261,500 – $383,570 USD annually. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan; eligible for equity program and discretionary annual cash incentive.
