Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships

Core responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising strategy and revenue growth by developing and executing annual and multi-year fundraising plans aligned with organizational priorities
• Build and steward key relationships with institutional funders and partners, cultivating authentic, values-aligned relationships
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 5 development staff, fostering a collaborative, feedback-rich, and equity-centered team culture
• Strengthen systems and operations by overseeing fundraising infrastructure including CRM systems (Salesforce) and processes

This role drives JMA's fundraising strategy to build the relationships and resources needed to advance long-term, justice-centered change, transforming public spending and corporate behavior in manufacturing to create a fair economy with good jobs and healthier communities for all.

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years in nonprofit fundraising or related fields with experience designing and leading fundraising strategies and plans
• At least 2 years of team management experience
• Strong relationship builder with experience engaging diverse stakeholders and excellent communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, revenue tracking, and fundraising operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, self-awareness, and accountability

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $108,000–$138,000 (based on experience and location)
