This position would be a member of the Branch4 team, a project fiscally sponsored by ACRE. Branch4 works with civil servants, grassroots movements, community organizations and advocates towards a democratic and equitable administrative branch of government that delivers just results for all. Position Overview The Director of Operations oversees the internal systems, processes, and infrastructure that support Branch4’s programs and team. This role ensures that the organization runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, experienced in data use and analysis, and comfortable managing multiple functions. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations in partnership with Branch4’s fiscal sponsor, ensuring organizational efficiency and effectiveness Manage internal systems including HR Provide administrative support to Co-Executive Directors as needed, Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to Develop and improve operational processes to support organizational growth Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and execution Oversee budgets, financial tracking in coordination with fiscal sponsor Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements Maintain records and record-keeping systems for Branch4 and its projects Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and operational resources Support data collection and design data strategy. Qualifications and Experience 7+ years of operations, administration, or management experience Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience managing budgets, systems, and internal processes Ability to translate strategy into practical operational plans Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations Comfort working in a fast-growing or evolving environment Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset Commitment to equity Willingness and ability to do both day-to-day implementation and high-level planning.
