Director of Membership and Engagement

• Lead the execution of the Society's membership strategy, including recruitment, retention, engagement, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee membership operations, database management (MemberClicks), and member services to ensure data integrity and responsive support.
• Develop and manage membership programming, special interest groups, and community engagement opportunities.
• Manage the exhibiting and sponsorship program to maximize revenue and mission-aligned visibility.

This role directly advances the Society's mission of just and equitable abortion and contraception by building a diverse, engaged community of professionals and ensuring evidence-informed practices and policies are grounded in science.

• Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience leading membership programs or stakeholder-focused initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with an Association Management System (MemberClicks strongly preferred).
• Five or more years developing and implementing membership recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies.
• Strong data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary range: $120,000-$130,000. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance (100% individual premium covered), 24 days PTO, 16 paid holidays, 8 weeks fully paid family leave, 401K with up to 3.5% match, $2,000 annual professional development funds, $300 remote work stipend at hire, $150 after first year, $50/month internet reimbursement, and more.
