Mission

What you will drive

The Director of MEAL will:

  • Lead our monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) strategy, build high-performing MEAL teams in our countries, and drive data-driven decision-making across program implementation.
  • Oversee MEAL frameworks, indicators, and measurement plans across countries, ensuring alignment with Imagine's Theory of Change and organizational impact goals.
  • Develop and maintain Master Data Management definitions, procedures, standards, and data governance protocols for timely, accurate, and ethical decision-grade data collection.
  • Lead the development of dashboards, performance reports, and analytic models, translating insights into clear narratives and recommendations for diverse audiences including country teams, leadership, funders, and external stakeholders.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in data-related roles, with 5 years at a senior level leading enterprise data management interventions, and experience working in the non-profit or social sector is an advantage.
  • Honours Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), or related fields (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, data cleaning, data quality frameworks, statistical analysis, segmentation, forecasting, and experimental design (e.g., A/B tests).
  • Exceptional people skills including excellent communication and storytelling abilities, ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, lead and coach teams, work in multicultural environments, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
