What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new donor prospects with annual giving capacity of $25,000–$250,000 and strengthen relationships with existing mid-tier donors
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of 100+ individual prospects and investors, primarily non-institutional funders
- Personally lead investor meetings, cultivate relationships, and secure gifts from individuals committed to innovation, impact, and systems change
- Drive fundraising strategy for high-net-worth individual investors, including tailored cultivation plans and events, and travel up to 30% to meet donors in person

Required qualifications:
- 7+ years raising money in front-line fundraising roles from individual (non-institutional) donors in political fundraising, private sector fundraising, or nonprofit major gifts
- Exceptional communication and influence skills with ability to craft and deliver clear, persuasive messages to diverse audiences
- Advanced digital and analytical proficiency with expertise in productivity tools (Google Workspace) and CRM platforms
- Strong interest in FairVote's core strategic priorities and deep commitment to its mission and values
