Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs

Core responsibilities:

• Development and execution of legislative and regulatory strategy in the U.S. with state and local government, and possibly internationally in the EU and the UK.
• Management of outside consultants, grassroots allies and other stakeholders.
• Analysis of pending legislation and regulations, as well as current laws.
• Work cross functionally with internal teams to maximize market opportunities, ensure compliance with appropriate laws and regulations, and seek input on pending policy issues.

This role supports the company's mission to harness computer vision to transform transit systems and government agencies, helping accelerate transit, enhance street safety, and drive toward a sustainable future through effective policy and regulatory work.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
• 7+ years experience in policy, government, and/or law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
• Passion for solving problems and finding effective solutions, regardless of how big or small the task.
• Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams.
• Willingness to travel.
